EVERETT, WA – A driver towing a camper was injured during a rollover accident in Everett this evening, according to Trooper Rocky Oliphant of the Washington State Police.

The crash occurred on northbound I-5, near 128th Street, at about 5 p.m., and involved a black Toyota pickup truck that was carrying a travel trailer. The vehicle rolled over onto its side, with the trailer landing in a wooded area off the right side of the highway.

The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Authorities closed the right lane for the investigation of the collision and did not state when the roads would be opened.

Oliphant reminded drivers not to take photos of the scene while operating a vehicle, and stated that a cell phone ticket is $139.
