Crews respond to scene of small fire in Seattle high rise residence

100 block of Cedar St: Crews are on scene for a fire confined to one unit in a high rise residence. Fire was extinguished by the sprinkler system and firefighters rescued one occupant from the fire room. The occupant is currently being evacuated by paramedics.

The incident occurred at the 100 block of Cedar Street and was reported by Seattle Fire around 5:29 a.m.
The fire was reported to have been extinguished by the sprinkler system, and firefighters were able to rescue one occupant from the room of the fire. Paramedics were on scene to evacuate the occupant.
The response team was reduced to a few units.
An investigation into the incident is underway. No other information has been released.
