Crews respond to restaurant fire in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood

Firefighters were initially dispatched to the scene in the 8500 block of Greenwood Avenue North shortly before 5:34 p.m. to investigate reports of moderate smoke emanating from the structure.
At 5:40 p.m., a kitchen fire was reported to have been extinguished within a short time, allowing for a reduced response.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
Motorists were instructed to detour around the area as emergency vehicles responded to the scene.
