Collision on I-5 southbound causes major traffic buildup in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – A car accident on southbound I-5 at NE 145th St caused a significant traffic buildup early Friday morning, WSDOT reports.

The accident happened around 5 a.m., according to a tweet from WSDOT. KOMO reporter Tyrah Majors tweeted a photo from the scene showing the traffic backup.

WSDOT did not report any injuries.
