Collision involving two pickup trucks block lane on I-405 NB in Renton
Request Free ConsultationKING COUNTY, WA — Two drivers crashed their pickup trucks over a guardrail Tuesday morning, closing an HOV lane on Interstate 405 in Renton, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the northbound interstate at the merge to State Highway 167. It was first reported by WSDOT at 8:55 a.m.
On I-405 northbound at SR 167 there is a collision blocking the HOV lane.

It was unclear what led up to the incident, but a photo shared by ABC Seattle traffic anchor Tyrah Majors shows two pickup trucks crashed over the center guardrail. At least two occupants can be seen standing a short distance from the stopped vehicles.

Authorities have not confirmed any significant injuries in the crash.
