Collision blocks right lane on State Route 16

PURDY, WA – A car accident blocked the right lane of State Route 16 near 154th St. Northwest Thursday afternoon.

Collision on SR 16 WB at milepost 17.73 near 154th St NW beginning at 12:59 pm on July 2, 2020 until further notice. The right lane is blocked.

According to the Tacoma Department of Transportation, the accident occurred around 1 p.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.

The right lane is closed until further notice while first responders clear the scene.
