Snoqualmie Police responded to the accident, and the Snoqualmie Fire Department and Eastside Fire and Rescue extinguished the flames. The driver managed to escape the vehicle without injury.
The crash occurred at the 1700 block of Bendigo Blvd. and closed Highway 202. As of 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, one lane reopened, but the car was still in flames. Snoqualmie Police reported that the fire spread into the fuel tank.
It is unclear if this fire was related to the semi truck accident that shut down traffic on I-90 just south of the town.
