Battle Ground, Washington – School Bus Collides With Another Vehicle

Battle Ground, Washington (April 8, 2019) – A school bus carrying 20 students collided with another vehicle close to the intersection of Northeast 134th Street and Northeast Laurin Road, and was reported around 7:30 a.m. according to the the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The bus was pushed to a nearby field due to the collision, but the students were transferred onto another vehicle before being taken to Prairie High School and Laurin Middle School.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. There have been no details regarding the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash.

To make the streets safe for everyone, we urge all drivers and pedestrians to be aware of their surroundings and follow traffic regulations at all times. Aside from that, another way to ensure safety is to check that one’s vehicle is fit for the road. And in case of any incident, wearing seat belts can minimize any damage received.
