SEATTLE, WA – A car and a semi-truck with the USPS collided on SR-99 early Wednesday morning, leading to at least two people being injured, according to an incident report from the Seattle Police.

The accident happened at the intersection of SR-99 with 509, near S Holden Street, at 3:51 a.m. when the two vehicles collided, trapping at least one person temporarily within the wreckage.

SPD did not release the identities of the victims, though stated there were at least two people who were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

One of the drivers received a traffic citation as a result of the collision.

Authorities closed SR-99 for about an hour during the investigation.
