KENT, WA – Kent firefighters used over 12,000 gallons of water to contain a fire that was burning a stack of 30-40 cars in a junkyard at the 26100 block of 78th Avenue South early Tuesday morning.

Crews from Puget Sound Fire arrived at the scene around 4 a.m. to find the cars fully involved in the fire. Officials are investigating what caused the fire to break out, according to KOMO News.

No one was injured and firefighters kept the blaze from jumping onto other structures.
