SEATTLE, WA – A man is facing multiple charges after fleeing a traffic stop in southeastern Seattle last night while reportedly being under the influence.

According to KOMO News, the crash occurred in the Judkins Park area at about 9:15 p.m.

The driver was allegedly speeding when Seattle Police attempted to perform a traffic stop. He fled the scene, reportedly driving in a reckless manner and swerving into traffic.

He allegedly ran a traffic light before finally colliding with two parked vehicles.

The driver, who has yet to be publicly identified, attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was soon apprehended.

The driver was brought to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the King County Jail.

He is facing charges of possession of narcotics, eluding, and driving while intoxicated.
