Alaska Airlines makes emergency landing after passenger threatens to kill everyone on board
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA – An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to land about 20 minutes after takeoff en route to Chicago after a man yelled, “I’m going to kill everybody on this plane. Die in the name of Jesus!”
Alaska Airlines Flight 422 took off from SeaTac at 11:10 p.m. Saturday evening and was supposed to land at the Chicago O’Hare airport. After the man became belligerent, pilots made the decision to return to Seattle.
Two other passengers, including a member of the Chicago police department, restrained the man until the plane landed.
No one was harmed during this incident and the man, who has not been identified, was taken to King County Jail for harassment.
