Abandoned house in Federal Way destroyed in fire

FEDERAL WAY, WA – An abandoned house burned to the ground Friday morning, making it the second abandoned house in that area to be destroyed by fire this week.

KOMO News reported that South King Fire & Rescue arrived on the scene at 32nd Avenue South and South 320th Street around 2 a.m. Friday to find the house already engulfed.

Because the house was already completely ablaze, firefighters could not enter the home to check for occupants. Crews poured water on the fire from outside.

This fire and the other fire that destroyed an abandoned house Wednesday are under investigation.
