43-year-old woman killed in Kitsap County hit-and-run accident

KITSAP COUNTY, WA – A 43-year-old woman died Tuesday evening after being hit by a car on the 18000 block of Suquamish Way, Kitsap County officials report.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday that they had located the suspect’s vehicle and were continuing their investigation. The victim, Tricia L. Garduno, died at the scene.

The accident happened around 5 p.m. on Tuesday night. Officials believe Garduno was on the right shoulder of Suquamish Way when the car hit her.
