23-year-old paddleboarder hospitalized after falling into Star Lake

KENT, WA – A 23-year-old was hospitalized after he fell into a lake in Kent on Friday evening, according to KIRO 7.

The incident occurred when a man on a paddleboard fell into the water of Star Lake without wearing a life jacket.

Emergency crews performed resuscitative efforts on him, then transported him to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
