21-year-old in critical condition after being pulled from lake in Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY, WA – A young man is in critical condition after being pulled from a lake in Federal Way yesterday, according to KIRO 7.
The accident happened just after 5:45 p.m. at Steel Lake after a 21-year-old man, who has yet to be publicly identified, had been submerged beneath the water for at least 20 minutes.
The victim reportedly had jumped into the lake from a dock.
He was pulled to shore by rescue swimmers, and after emergency efforts were performed on him, he was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
