15-year-old girl dead in weekend crash in Covington

COVINGTON, WA – A 15-year-old girl died Saturday night after the car she was in collided with another vehicle on Covington Sawyer Road. Two 17-year-olds were also injured.
According to KOMO News, the teenagers’ car crashed into a car carrying five people, four of whom were taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries. The 15-year-old girl died at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The three teenagers involved in the accident are students at Tahoma High School, whose administration is helping the student body cope with the loss of their classmate.
The accident is still under investigation.
