Wenatchee, Washington – Woman Seriously Injured in Dog Attack

Wenatchee, Washington (January 23, 3030) – A woman was reported to have sustained serious injuries in a dog attack at Number 2 Canyon on Thursday noon. According to the article from 560KP6 News Radio, the victim was reported to have been bitten repeatedly all over her body, with severe injuries to her left hand and left ear. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

The press release from Animal Care and Control (ACC) stated that the involved dogs were two Rottweiler type dogs and two mixed breed type of dogs. The dogs were also reported to have left in an older maroon Subaru station wagon. An ACC officer is said to be patrolling the area to find the vehicle and dogs matching that description. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Animal Care and Control. Update: As of an article released on January 30, 2020, the dogs have been found and have been surrendered to Animal Care and Control.

Dog bites are a serious matter, involving a very painful and sometimes scarring experience for the persons involved. People should not be deterred from getting a certain breed of dog, but it would do well for owners to be familiar with capability of the dog so as to be more able to be responsible for the dog.
