Vehicle crashes into utility pole in Tacoma, one person hospitalized

TACOMA, WA – At least one person was hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a utility pole in the 3800 block of S K in Tacoma on Tuesday.
Tacoma Fire crews are onscene of a motor vehicle accident at the 3800 block of S K. One patient has been transported to an area hospital. Please avoid the area if you are able. pic.twitter.com/VLjSdmT85H

A photo from the scene tweeted by Tacoma Fire shows a white sedan with its front end crushed into the utility pole. Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident. It is not clear whether another vehicle was involved.
