Update: Drivers involved in Spanaway crash to be charged with Vehicular Homicide & Assault

SPANAWAY, WA – The two drivers who were racing Wednesday will be charged with vehicular homicide and assault after one of them crashed into a pickup truck, killing the driver.

According to South Sound News, the two racing drivers were seriously injured in the crash as well and were taken to local trauma centers for treatment. The race ended when one of the cars ran a stop sign and struck the pickup truck, forcing both vehicles to roll.

The identities of those involved have not been released.
