After initially coming to stop, the driver began fleeing in reverse, traveling westbound down a steep hill on Southwest Andover Street. The RV slammed into an eastbound SUV that was making its way up the hill, then continued reversing to the intersection with Delridge Way SW, where it sideswiped a tanker truck and struck an elderly pedestrian.

Authorities say the SUV driver and the pedestrian were injured and treated at the scene. The 79-year-old male pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The female driver did not require further care.

The RV eventually came to a stop after crashing into a nearby building. The suspect attempted to flee officers on foot but was quickly arrested.
