Two teens dead, two injured in Puyallup rollover crash

PUYALLUP, WA – A rollover crash Friday in Puyallup that was possibly related to alcohol and speeding led to the deaths of two teenagers and the injury of two others, according to a report by Q13 Fox.

The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of 31^st Avenue Southwest, near South Fruitland.

A 16-year-old girl lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch, before flipping over and landing upside-down. Two backseat passengers, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, were ejected during the collision. The younger of the two died at the scene, while the 17-year-old was taken to the hospital and there succumbed to his injuries.

An additional passenger, a 15-year-old boy, received minor injuries, as did the driver. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to initial reports, the driver was speeding and possibly intoxicated when the accident happened.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
