SEATTLE, WA – Twelve Seattle police were injured today during a protest downtown pushing for the abolishment of ICE.

According to KOMO News, the incident happened this afternoon outside the West Precinct building of the Seattle PD, where the protests had gathered after leaving the West Lake Center.

One of the officers was taken to the hospital due to neck injuries, while the other eleven received minor wounds in the conflict with protesters.

Two people were arrested during the demonstrations, according to the report.

According to police, during the clash, someone attempted to set the East Precinct building on fire, and several other buildings were vandalized or damaged.
