Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA – Extensive road closures and delays occurred in Northwest Seattle after a tanker truck crashed into a pole and spilled sewage over the roadway this morning, according to the Seattle Police Department.
UPDATE: thankfully the tanker did not contain fuel. However, this will still be an extensive clean up/road closure, as the truck was actually hauling sewage.

The accident happened near the intersection of Holman Road NW and 3rd Avenue NW at about 11:50 a.m., when a tanker truck crashed into a traffic pole.
Authorities initially believed that the crash caused fuel to be spilled onto the roadway. More distressingly, perhaps, the truck was instead hauling sewage.
The truck driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities warned that the roadway would be closed for an extended amount of time as they worked to clean up the mess from the crash.
