Sunnyside, Washington – Fire Destroys Home at Ingham Road

Sunnyside, Washington (February 20, 2020) – A fire destroyed a home on the 500 block of Ingham Road on early Thursday morning. According to the article from KIMA News, there were no mentions of injuries in the incident. However, the fire caused the destruction of the building and all its contents. The residents are reported to be currently staying with family members.

According to information from Yakima County Fire District 5, crews responded to the scene just after 4 a.m. By the time firefighters arrived one side of the home was fully involved, and the building was at risk of collapsing during the operation. Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading and were able to save a nearby garage. The cause of the fire has not been reported.
