Stillwater, Washington – Two-Car Collision at State Route 203

Stillwater, Washington (December 20, 2019) – A two-car collision occurred at milepost 8 of State Route 203 near Stillwater Store. Fortunately no injuries have been reported from the incident. According to the information from the Washington State Patrol, landslide in the area caused the collision. The landslide also brought down trees in the area, which also caused lines to be downed. A detour was set in place while the area was being cleared.

Of those accidents, 525 were fatal and 34, 311 were possible or suspected of injuries. In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
