SPD searching for driver who collided with bicyclist, then fled scene

SEATTLE, WA – A bicyclist was struck by a hit-and-run driver near Seward Park this evening, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Please be on the look out! Police need your help finding a car who hit a bicyclist and fled. This just happened at 7pm, south of #SewardPark. The car is an older model, silver Nissan Sentra with a broken windshield. Possible partial lic plate is BKU053. Call 911 if seen.

The crash happened south of Seward Park at about 7 p.m., when the driver of a silver, older Nissan Sentra collided with a bicyclist, then fled the scene.

Authorities are searching for the suspect vehicle, which has a possible partial place of BKU053 and has a broken windshield.

Those with any information on the accident are asked to contact Seattle Police or call 911.

The condition of the bicyclist was not immediately released.
