Shelton, Washington – Pedestrian Dies From Injuries After Getting Struck by Car

Shelton, Washington (August 3, 2019) – A pedestrian who was struck by a car on Olympic Highway North on Saturday night has died from his injuries. The victim, identified as Michael E. Gaskill from Shelton, was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died. The driver and the passenger in the car were not injured.

According to the report, the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 1600 block of Olympic Highway. The victim was reported to be wearing dark clothing, which might have been a factor in the collision. Investigation on the accident is ongoing.
