Serious injury two-vehicle collision on State Route 17 near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE, WA – Washington State Troopers responded to a serious collision on State Route 17 at milepost 44 on Wednesday morning.

#Breaking: 2 vehicle serious injury collision on SR17 (Road 4 SE) MP44-5 (6 MILES SOUTH OF MOSES LAKE). Roadway completely blocked. More details as I receive them. I’m enroute the scene.

At least two people were life-flighted to Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane. According to WSP Trooper John Bryant, the accident happened around 9:45 a.m.

SR 17 was blocked in both directions while police investigated. The road reopened by 11:55 a.m.
