Semi-truck rollover spills fuel on Hwy 509 in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA – The driver of a semi-truck sustained minor injuries after losing control of the truck and overturning it on Highway 509 near Interstate 705.
Tacoma Fire Department has responded to a semi truck rollover on Highway 509. This is a single vehicle accident with a minor fuel spill. The driver of this truck has minor injuries and is being transported to an area hospital for evaluation. pic.twitter.com/ybJg8KJgk2

The accident happened around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. It is not clear why the driver lost control. Highway 509 reopened about half an hour after the rollover.
