Semi-truck crosses center line, slams into car on Hood Canal Bridge
Request Free ConsultationPOULSBO, WA – A semi-truck lost control on the Hood Canal Bridge before slamming into a car heading in the opposite direction on Tuesday morning.
The #HoodCanalBridge is fully blocked mid span due to a car vs semi collision.
The driver of the car sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi is not injured.

According to Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the semi-truck was heading eastbound when the driver lost control, hit a barricade, crossed the center line, then hit a westbound vehicle. The driver of the passenger car sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to Hodgson.
The Hood Canal Bridge was closed while tow trucks removed the vehicles from the road. Hodgson did not confirm the cause of the accident.
