Seattle, Washington – Multiple Reports of Injuries After Tree Falls on SR 99

Seattle, Washington (July 12, 2019) – Several people were injured when a tree fell  on a car  at State Route 99 near Comstock Street on Friday afternoon. One man with minor injuries was taken to Harborview Medical Center, while other victims who had very minor injuries were treated on the scene.

The hospitalized victim came from the car which the tree fell on. The cause of the other victim’s injuries has not been reported. The accident also caused two right lanes of southbound State Route 99 to be blocked. Officials have not said what caused the tree on fall on the highway.
