Seattle, Washington (October 26, 2019) – A chemical spill occurred on the 5100 block of Northwest 51st Street, prompting response from the Seattle Fire Department. While the material involved was identified to be highly flammable ethanol, no injuries were reported in the incident. The crews later reported that the ethanol was diluted to a safe state and that control of the building had been turned back to its occupants.
