Seattle, Washington – Car-on-Side Crash at California/Brandon

Seattle, Washington (March 25, 2019) – Around 11:30 am, a Seattle response went to a crash involving two cars at California Avenue Southwest and Southwest Brandon Street. One vehicle went sideways and its driver and a dog in the car needed to be rescued. He did not suffer any serious injuries and was taken to the  hospital via AMR ambulance. His dog also appeared to be well after the accident. Another car was said to be damaged and on the sidewalk, though details on the crash itself are not available. The accident closed the road briefly but soon reopened.

It must be noted that in Seattle in particular, the fairly mountainous geography and surrounding water has created for a road situation which includes many tunnels, bridges, hills and narrow roads that can lead to car accidents. We urge all drivers to practice caution while out on the streets. As was the situation in this accident, be especially careful on late hours, especially if the road is lacking sufficient illumination. It would also help to identify busy roads ad try to avoid being in their proximity to minimize any risk of a vehicle accident. Any mistake can lead to injuries and damage not only to your person, but on other people as well.
