Rochester, Washington – Motorcyclist Dead in Collision

Rochester, Washington (May 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after a collision with a car on Highway 12 at Denmark Street on Wednesday morning. The victim died on the scene. The occupants of the car were not reported to be injured.

According to the report, the car was westbound on Highway 12 and was making a left turn onto Denmark Street, while the motorcycle was headed eastbound on the same highway. The motorcyclist struck the car while it was making the turn. The report from the State Patrol cited failure to yield for right of way as the cause of the accident.
