Renton, Washington (April 21, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed and a car driver was injured in a collision that occurred on Benson Drive South and South 27th Place. According to the report from the Renton Police Department, the driver of the involved sedan sustained minor injuries and was not reported to go to the hospital.

Officers from the Renton Police Department were dispatched to the site of the crash around 8:50 a.m. From witness reports, the motorcyclist was northbound on Benson Drive South and appears to have been traveling in excess of 100 mph. The sedan was making a legal left turn and did not see the motorcycle, resulting in a collision. Anyone with additional information on the case is encouraged to report to the Renton Police Department.

Be especially cautious when driving at night, as with any other vehicle. Any mistakes in judgement can lead to accidents, injuries and damage not only to your person, but on other people as well.
