Renton, Washington – Fire Destroys RV at I-405

Renton, Washington (August 25, 2019) – A fire broke out in an RV on the Interstate 405 on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, all occupants were able to safely escape the vehicle, and officials from Renton Fire have confirmed there were no injuries in the incident. The RV however, was destroyed in the incident.

The fire happened as the RV was disabled in the southbound Interstate 405 lanes near the exit to Lake Washington Boulevard North. By the time firefighters arrived, the RV had been reduced to a frame. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
