Puyallup, Washington – Train Collides with Vehicle at North Meridian

Puyallup, Washington (March 7, 2020) – A train collided with a vehicle at the 200 block of North Meridian on Saturday night. According to the article from News Maven, the driver of the vehicle was able to exit prior to the collision and was unhurt. No other injuries were reported in the incident. The struck vehicle, however, was destroyed in the collision.

Crews from Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, Puyallup Police and emergency responders went to the scene just after 10 p.m. No word has been given on the cause and circumstances of the collision. The driver of the struck vehicle was arrested after the accident. The crash caused multiple railroad crossings to be closed while investigation and clean-up were ongoing.
