Puyallup, Washington – Driver Sustains Foot Injury after Car Drives Through Wall of Fast Food

Puyallup, Washington (August 8, 2019) – A teen driver sustained a foot injury after crashing his vehicle through the wall of a McDonald’s at the 1603 block of South Meridian on Thursday. He was treated on the scene, with no mention of him requiring a hospitalization. No other injuries were reported on the scene. However, the accident caused the closure of the business.

According to the report from the Puyallup Police, the driver was just leaving the drive-thru when he spilled soda. Instead of pressing on the brake, he pressed on the gas, causing the crash.  In addition to crashing through the wall, his vehicle also struck the soda dispenser inside the building. The crash remains under investigation.
