Possible drowning in Snoqualmie River near Monroe
Request Free ConsultationMONROE, WA – Snohomish County Fire District 7 recovered the body of a person who had possibly drowned in the Snoqualmie River near Monroe on Thursday.

Officials did not provide more details about the victim’s identity. Snohomish County Fire District 7 reported via Twitter that they located an empty truck idling at the boat launch near Crescent Lake and later found an empty boat upstream. Then they found the body that had gotten stuck on a log in the river. It is not clear whether the victim drowned or was placed there.
Officials have not released any more information about the truck or if they located other persons in the area.
