SEATTLE, WA – A hit-and-run accident connected to a fatal shooting incident led to the death of a pedestrian in the Rainier Valley area last night, according to Q13 FOX.

The incident began at about 8 p.m. when one person died after being shot near the Atlantic City Boat Ramp.

A driver fled the scene of the shooting, resulting in their striking and killing a pedestrian in an accident a few miles away.

The driver did not remain at the scene of the pedestrian accident and instead continued to Harborview Medical. There, an occupant of the vehicle was discovered by staff.

The identities of the driver and the pedestrian and a description of the vehicle have not yet been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the incidents at this time.
