Pacific, Washington (November 16, 2019) – Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle head-on collision at the 200 block of Ellingson Road on Saturday night. The two drivers were taken to Harborview Medical Center, with one driver being airlifted. Two other patients were taken to area hospitals. There has been no further word regarding their conditions.

According to the report from the Pacific Police Department, officers responded to the scene after 9 p.m. Algona Police, Valley Regional Fire and Rescue and the Washington State Patrol also assisted in the response and investigation. The cause and circumstances of the crash has not yet been reported The incident caused all lanes to be blocked at the scene.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
