One person extricated from rollover accident on SR 18

FEDERAL WAY, WA – Valley Regional Fire used hydraulic tools to extricate one victim from a single-vehicle rollover crash on State Route 18 and Weyerhaeuser Way on Sunday night.

VRFA crews and King County Paramedics are currently on scene of a single car rollover accident on Westbound Hwy 18 at Weyerhaeuser Way. 1 patient needed to be extricated with hydraulic tools. Traffic is very heavy in the area. pic.twitter.com/GB5gZideiH

Valley Regional Fire reported the crash via Twitter at 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Traffic on westbound SR 18 was backed up while first responders worked to remove the victims from the scene. Officials did not confirm the cause of the accident or whether the occupants of the flipped vehicle were taken to a hospital.
