One killed in early-morning I-5 collision in Everett

KOMO News and Washington State Trooper Axtman reported that the accident blocked all southbound lanes of I-5 in the area while police investigated. First responders arrived on the scene at around 5:45 a.m. According to a tweet from Axtman, the road was not reopened until 9:30 a.m.
Long delays are anticipated while crews investigate and clear the scene.
