Napavine, Washington – One Man Killed After Getting Struck by Train

Napavine, Washington (February 13, 2020) – One man was killed after getting struck by a train at the railroad crossing on West Washington Street on Thursday. According to the article from KOMO News, the adult male victim was found along the tracks and pronounced dead on the scene. No one inside the train was injured in the incident. According to preliminary investigation, the railroad crossing arms were down and the crossing lights were on as the southbound train approached, but two men still attempted to cross ahead of the train. One man managed to reach it, but the second man was struck by the train. The case remains under investigation.
