Motorcyclist critically injured in Lake City Way collision

SEATTLE, WA – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday morning following a collision with another vehicle in north Seattle, according to KOMO News.

The accident happened at about 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Lake City Way Northeast and Northeast 89th Street when a motorcycle was hit by a car.

The operator of the bike, who has not yet been publicly identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.

Authorities closed the northbound lanes of Lake City Way for the investigation of the collision, which continues at this time.
