Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after slamming into truck
Request Free ConsultationELMA, WA – A motorcyclist speeding west along State Route 12 near milepost 21 rammed into the back of a truck Wednesday morning, according to The Olympian.
Washington State Patrol officers arrived at the scene around 4:45 a.m. to find the 37-year-old motorcyclist unconscious, as he had been thrown from his bike from the impact.
The motorcycle collided with the back of a 1996 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, driven by a 69-year-old Tenino man. The driver of the pickup was uninjured.
There is no word yet of the motorcyclist’s condition, but he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He is expected to be charged with reckless driving.
