Moses Lake, Washington – One Injured in Motorcycle Crash

Moses Lake, Washington (April 26, 2019) – One woman suffered head and upper-body injuries after she was thrown from a motorcycle on East Broadway Avenue on early Friday morning. She was airlifted to a hospital in Spokane for treatment. The driver, Mark Janke, left her for dead. He was hunted by the police, though he has since been reported to have turned himself in.

According to witnesses, two motorcycles were riding together in the area when one lost control, throwing the victim off the bike and onto the ground. The driver fled the scene, and officers were dispatched to the collision site around 1 a.m. The police tried to locate the driver who was now wanted for vehicular assault and felony hit and run, but they were unable to find him. He is now in police custody.
