Marysville, Washington – Teen Driver Taken to the Hospital Following Crash

Marysville, Washington (October 30, 2019) – A teen driver was taken to the hospital after she crashed her vehicle on the Interstate 5 near the State Route 531 exit on early Wednesday morning. It is unknown if she sustained any significant injuries and the report stated that she was taken to the hospital to be checked out rather than to be treated. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the report from the Washington State Patrol, the driver was first spotted speeding and changing lanes erratically on northbound Interstate 5 near the US 2 exit. A trooper attempted to pull her over, but the driver continued, reaching speeds of 120 mph. The chase lasted for 10 miles until the driver crashed. It has not yet been determined why the teen fled from the troopers.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
