Lynnwood, Washington – Hit and Run Involves Three Cars on I-5

Lynnwood, Washington (August 24, 2019) – A hit and run incident occurred on southbound Interstate 5 near 44th Avenue West on early Saturday morning. Francis Scott Key’s vehicle was struck by a pickup truck, causing damage to Key’s vehicle. Key was reported to not be seriously hurt in the incident.

The incident happened after 5 a.m. According to the report, while Key was stopped in a construction zone. a pickup truck crashed into the back of Key’s car. The pickup truck then spun its wheels, causing Key’s vehicle to be pushed into the car in front of him. Police are currently looking for more information on the incident.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
